Community Outreach

Regardless of how bad you think times are or how hard your situation may be, its important to remember that there are always countless others that have it worse off. We are very blessed to have food on our tables and a roof over our head. At FloydRA we appreciate these same things and believe in giving back to the communities in which we serve. A few of the various organizations that we comet together and participate in monthly can be found below.

FloydRA Angel Fund

The Angel Fund was established the same time Floyd Realty Advisors, Inc. was founded. This fund allows us to participate in community outreach opportunities and also provide assistance to our associates and their families, during their times of need. The fund in no way alleviates struggles, but definitely provides a blessing. It is our way to contribute financially and lift up those that need it the most. The Angel Fund is comprised strictly from community donors, our own associates' individual giving and company sponsored fundraising efforts. Without this fund, we would not be able to bless as many community members, local charities and associates. FloydRA matches all community donations, dollar for dollar.

Habitat for Humanity

"Founded in Americus, Georgia, USA, in 1976, Habitat for Humanity today operates around the globe and has helped build, renovate and repair more than 600,000 decent, affordable homes sheltering more than 5 million people worldwide. NW Metro Atlanta Habitat for Humanity helped to accomplish this goal by building 410 homes in its service area - Cobb, Douglas and Paulding counties - and by building the same number of homes in Uganda, the country it selected as its international tithing partner." FloydRA volunteers our time and resources to help Habitat for Humanity build homes in the very same communities in which we do business. Our Team helps this organization with anything from the pick-up and delivery of local donations, new home construction and home renovations to stocking their warehouses and encouraging participation and awareness of the cause. Project Live Love

This organization is a little different from the rest, as they do not limit their outreach to a specific event or type of charity. They organize and run various types of community outreach events throughout Atlanta that focus on Thinking Love, Sharing Love and Doing Love. They find ways to put more "love" into the world to help change today's social issues. They bring community members together for a common purpose and encourage the action of "doing love" through hands-on opportunities. Their events focus around providing awareness of and help to those that may be victim to homlessness, sex trafficking or drug and alcohol rehabilitation. FloydRA participates both fiscally and responsibly by coming together as a Team and "doing love" within the Atlanta communities that need it the most. Toys for Tots

"The mission of the US Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens. The objectives are to help less fortunate children throughout the US experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation's most valuable resources - our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future." FloydRA believes that our children are our future. All kids deserve to feel loved and share in the Christmas cheer by receiving a toy, or two, for Christmas. Our Team helps collect toy donations and organize those toys for disbursement. We also participate in other various fundraising efforts. Atlanta Community Food Bank

"Founded in 1979, ACFB procures more than 60 million pounds of food and groceries each year and distributes it to more than 600 nonprofit partner agencies serving families and individuals in 29 metro Atlanta and north Georgia counties. Food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters and senior centers are among the agencies that receive product from ACFB. In turn, these partner agencies provide food and other critical resources for low-income Georgians who suffer from hunger and food insecurity. The mission of the Atlanta Community Food Bank is to fight hunger by engaging, educating and empowering our community. While our core work is food distribution, our efforts extend far beyond that." FloydRA volunteers resources, canned foods and time through this organization's seven community events. The other organizations that we participate in provide clothing, housing and toys to those in need - the final piece to the puzzle is food. Atlanta Community Food Bank helps fulfill that need.  For additional information about this organization, please visit their website
